BREAD MAKING CLASS

BREAD MAKING CLASS

Does your family enjoy eating delicious homemade bread? Each child or parent will learn how easy it is to make a loaf of bread and will bring home a freshly milled hot loaf for the family. We will learn about the ingredients in bread and why they are used as well as the many uses of bread dough. Making homemade bread is a good way to stretch the family budget. The class size is small due to the limited number of loaves that can be baked at one time. Classes will be held on Friday, March 9th and March 23rd at 3:00. The cost is $15.00 for the first family member and will include a loaf of bread. Additional family members will be $10.00 and will include another loaf of bread. Please call Debbie Ripley to sign up. 541-535-3992. We live at 2950 David Lane, Medford. (Our home is a short trip from the freeway behind the Home Depot).

JCHE: Used Curriculum Sale 6/16

USED CURRICULUM SALE
It is time to begin setting aside books that you no longer want or need for the Annual JCHE Used Curriculum Sale! The date and location will be Saturday, June 16th, at First Baptist Church, Medford. This sale is a great place to sell and buy books, curriculum, and educational materials. Total sales last year were almost $8,000. We will run it as we have done in the past, in which you bring your labeled books the day before and volunteers organize them according to categories. You won’t need to stay at a table all day so that means time to shop! You will be asked to volunteer for a shift either on Friday, the set-up day, or on Saturday, the day of the sale.

The information packets are ready and available on the JCHE website (jchenews.com ) in the "Newsletter Download" section. You may also request a packet from Robin Reed. Once you have your packet, contact Robin at allthereeds@yahoo.com or call her at 541-779-0665 for your vendor number and to sign up for your volunteer time. For more information you may also call Therese at 826-3560.

LOVE COSTS EVERYTHING

LOVE COSTS EVERYTHING
Sunday, March 11th, 2012
6pm to 9pm
Mountain Christian Fellowship
1 E. Main Street
Medford, OR
Persecution is a reality for nearly two hundred million Christians around the world. Daily, they risk their lives simply because they believe in Jesus. They could surrender, convert, or quit but the love of Jesus is worth the sacrifice. For many of them, this roads lea...ds to death.

This simulcast features the critically acclaimed documentary film "LOVE COSTS EVERYTHING" with and important message from Francis Chan and features experts on the subject of the persecuted church.

Traveling from the jungles of Columbia to the war-torn streets of Baghdad "LOVE COSTS EVERYTHING" tells the real life story of Christians standing firm in the face of death.

Because of the true to life reporting and graphic nature of the film, we request that parents consider bringing only those ages 13 and above.
