California Theater Center Proudly Presents: Jack and the Beanstalk

Follow the lively adventures of young Jack as he acquires the magic beans in trade for his beloved cow and encounters the evil giant and his wife at the top of the beanstalk. Using his wits and ingenuity, Jack retrieves not only the townspeople’s gold but also the precious goose which lays golden eggs! Suggested for grades K-5, but personal experience says that this performance will likely appeal... to middle school students also.

Doorposts' Pam Forster to speak at Sept TEACH mtg

Many of you are familiar with Doorposts' products and Bible studies (If/Then charts, For Instructions in Righteousness, etc). The TEACH homeschool group of Grants Pass invites you to join them Sept 5th at 7 pm for their first meeting of the year. Here are the details:

Pam has homeschooled her six children, seen three through courtship and marriage and she is the author of For Instruction in Righteousness, Polished Cornerstones and more. We are honored to have her come speak to us.

New option this year: We will have classes Tues Wed & Thurs

Shoestring Productions Theatrical Troupe

The homeschool drama group, Shoestring Productions Theatrical Troupe, kicks off it's Fall session on September 5, Thursday, 1:30 to 3:30 pm at West Main Church Of Christ. Parents need to attend for at least the first hour to hear information and fill out forms. Tuition is $200 and can be paid out of pocket with installments or in full or by gathering ads from local businesses for our production program. All money gathered for ads or sponsorships go toward your tuition! We meet every Thursday afternoon in September and October and Thursday, Friday afternoons in November.  Classes are open to ages 12 and beyond! Our Fall production is yet to be announced and will be performed in November. This is a safe, family friendly environment directed by Jeannie Everingham, a homeschool mom and grandma.
