TEACH meeting in Grants Pass
November TEACH Meeting meets @ River Valley Community Church
This month's meeting will feature a presentation by Joyce Herzog a noted homeschool speaker and long time educator. She will be answering questions via Skype after we view the presentation. Here's her topic.
Learn to Teach and Engage ALL Ages in Learning!
...
What does “good teaching” look like? How can you do it with many children of different skill levels and be sure everyone is progressing at their own level? How do you get an 11 year old boy and a 12 year old girl both interested in studying “worms?” It is possible. Learn from an expert with over three decades of teaching experience! It’s easy. It’s fun. It’s effective learning!
We'll meet at River Valley Community Church, Family Center A, 405 NE 6th Street , Grants Pass.
7:30 PM on Thursday November 3rd.
Bring a friend and pass it on!

As part of the Rogue Opera’s 26th season of Opera in the Schools, featuring a production of Pinocchio by John Davies. This original rendition of the beloved folk tale encourages children to tell the truth to adults they trust, while exposing them to the works from the operas of Mozart, Donizetti, Offenbach and Pergolesi. Our protagonist, Pinocchio is persuaded to skip school and meet with the evil puppeteer, Dr. Dulcamara. When Dr. Dulcamara flies into a fit of rage, Pinocchio escapes and returns home, where he asks for his father’s forgiveness. With the help of his father and the authorities, Pinocchio runs the bad guys out of town.
