The public is invited to “A History of the King James Bible: Four Hundred Years and Going Strong” presented by Pacific Bible College instructor Terry Pruett as part of “Thursday at the Library” on January 12, 4:00-5:30 p.m., in the Community Meeting Room of the Eagle Point Branch Library, 239 West Main Street.
This program features an interesting, informative, and entertaining look at the most famous and most widely published book in all of history. First published in 1611 A.D., an estimated 1 billion copies of the King James Bible have been published.

The Eagle Point Friends of the Library are sponsoring “Friday Night at the Movies,” a free movie for the whole family to enjoy. This is held on the first Friday of the month from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m., in the Community Meeting Room of the Eagle Point Branch Library, 239 West Main Street.The movie for Friday, August 5, is Nanny McFee, featuring a magical nanny who arrives when she’s needed the most and wanted the least. Popcorn will be served and kids are welcome to come in their pajamas!
