Volunteers needed!

COMMUNITY MINISTRY SERVICE PROJECT FOR JONI AND FRIENDS SOUTHERN OREGON
Joni and Friends Southern Oregon is excited and honored to host the 10th annual Sometimes Miracles Hide luncheon and carnival for mothers and their children with special needs. Moms will enjoy a delicious meal, inspirational program, fellowship, rest and respite. The children (including siblings) will be treated to a carnival where they will enjoy lots of games and activities. They will be paired with a buddy who will play with them and be a friend.

Volunteers are needed to serve in the carnival (as a buddy or operating a game booth) and nursery (arrive at 10 a.m. for training and orientation). Other positions include bathroom monitors, quiet room monitor, and door monitors. Volunteers are also needed in the kitchen (earlier arrival time!) and men are needed as servers during the lunch (arrive at 11:00). Volunteers need to be 13 years old to serve by themselves; 12 and younger may work alongside a parent.

Date: Saturday, April 28, 2012 Time: 10:00 (unless otherwise notified) until about 2:30.
Place: First Baptist Church Medford, 649 Crater Lake Avenue
