Hey all! There is a program starting that I was asked to share with you all. It is called Concerned Youth and it is a new organization aimed at helping kids from 12-18 become active & productive members of our society by doing community service type projects. It will be supervised by local youth pastors from different churches, but parents are always welcome to stay. The initial kick off is May 3rd, time to be determined, where the kids and adults will start at dutch bros on 6th street and 'march' down 6th and back up 7th streets where they will be doing good deeds along the way {such as picking up garbage, etc.}. Joe Chandler, who heads this up, would like to see this first march have TONS of kids participating. You can call him @ 541-295-1546 for additional info. I can personally vouch for Joe, as his daughter and I have been best friends since 6th grade and he is an active member/establisher of the homeless teen events throughout town.
